Solving, Negotiation and Critical Thinking.
"Development of Fluency" mainly focused on improving speaking
abilities, particularly oriented to people who have studied grammar in books
but is unable to speak fluently.
Our
programs primarily concentrate on developing
listening comprehension and speaking abilities, approaching them as skills
(not as concepts) using authentic audiovisual material (natives speaking in
real life situations) that is organized progressively according to level,
complexity, accents and speed. With this, people receive the benefit of improved quality of interactions
with foreigners during meetings, presentations and negotiations. By doing
this online, such abilities are practiced using modern communication means such
as conference calls or video calls, students exercise more concentration,
proactivity and commitment, helping as a whole to develop communication competencies,
as well as improving students' learning and job performance. This allows us to
teach students that range from basic level, people that has studied grammar in
books but is unable to speak fluently using all previously acquired knowledge,
up to those who want to develop specific advanced skills using Spanish/English correctly.
Our
practice is mainly focused on
professional needs of each student and company, whether it is colloquial,
service or business Spanish/English. By adapting special selections of
authentic audiovisual materials (natives speaking in real situations) we
concentrate our lessons on topics,
vocabulary, expressions and formality level that are relevant for each person,
as well as on the development of problem solving strategies aimed to achieve
objectives more efficiently. During this process we customize learning
materials according to each student's topics of interest, e.g. Business, Customer Service, Finance, Administration
and Management. With this, students get exposure to different accents and
expressions, helping them to articulate ideas in Spanish/English with
grammatically correct structures, including precision of expressions, meanings,
words and particularities of cultural concepts. At the same time we focus on
the development of skills such as Problem
Solving, Negotiation and Critical Thinking, thus improving fluency and
precision in the listening comprehension and speaking abilities.
Our offer is based on more than 6 years of
experience in online teaching, more than 40 years of experience teaching Spanish
and English, several years
developing innovative techniques and customized materials aimed to improve
learning performance and on our specialization in business context of various
industries. We use Accelerated Learning
Techniques that stimulate long term memory by maximizing the benefits of
the different learning stiles; our programs are designed according to each
person's particular processing characteristics, allowing us to foster the
psychological and emotional connection that implies to learn a language.
There
are different options in our online lessons so you can choose one that fits
best, ideal for busy people because they
offer grater schedule flexibility as well as time and transportation cost
savings. If you feel that taking lessons in a classroom with a book has not
produced the results you need and you want to be able to speak more, you can
achieve it with us.
The
duration of this process depends on frequency of lessons, student's objectives
and time the student dedicates to listening audiovisual material.

Lesson
cancelations or schedule changes must be agreed upon 24 hours in advance in
order to be free of charge.
